Ian has also complimented his mom, and at the Golden Globes in 2019, he called her a “super mom.”

“She doesn’t really let bad workdays or anything come back and ruin the time that we have. It’s really awesome to have a mother who I can enjoy spending time with.”

The 51-year-old gushed over her only son back in 2011 and called him “an amazing young man.” She added, “You don’t know what unconditional love is. You may say you do, but if you don’t have a child, you don’t know what that is…”

Ian wrote a touching birthday message for his mom last year for her 50th birthday, “To have you as my mother is the greatest gift I could ask for. To be all that you are while always having the time to be there, love, and support me unconditionally is truly remarkable.”

King previously talked about her character in Netflix’s “Seven Seconds” as a grieving mother who lost her son.
