Poor Woman Sells Scraps To Raises Abandoned Baby For 25 Years Who Repays Her This Way

“Now, it is time for me to take good care of her.”

A poor woman from Anqing found an abandoned baby near her house. It seemed like the girl was abandoned by her parents. The 49-year-old woman adopted the baby and raised her by selling vegetables and scraps. They became a family of three, along with her husband.

This was 25 years ago. Four years later, her husband passed away.

The baby was fed rice porridge because she couldn’t afford milk formula. She continued selling scraps and vegetables to raise her daughter. Now an adult with her own family and career, she’s living a much more comfortable life in the city.

But she never forgot about her foster mother.

Now 74 years old, her daughter built a two-story house and had her mom move out from their dilapidated hut. It was completely furnished for her mother to live in comfortably.

The daughter shares, “When I was a child, my mother took good care of me. Now, it is time for me to take good care of her. This is my duty as a child.”

Yet, her mother, who spent her whole life as a hard worker, continues to work around the house by collecting firewood, harvesting vegetables, and raising chicken.

Her daughter also frequently visits her back home in her new house and continues to prove that she’ll repay everything her foster mom has done for her.
