People Are Losing Their Minds Over Miley Cyrus And Dolly Parton’s NYE Duet

Miley Cyrus. It’s the name that a lot of people have probably heard years ago as she made headlines on her relationships. And if you’re any fan of hers, it’s crazy to see how there are people who don’t realize what an exceptional artist she is outside of her life drama.
Miley Cyrus can sing: surprised? This “Disney Princess” proved herself again on NYE, performing with so many big names from Sia, David Byrne, to one of the people’s favorites, Dolly Parton.

Miley’s NYE Party was an absolute blast and blessing to us all. Among those invited were Fletcher, Sia, Latto, Rae Sremmurd, and David Byrne.
You were there when you first laid your eyes on the “Wrecking Ball” MV, which was controversial at the time. But if you’ve tried singing that song, you know the range and power that Miley has was no joke.
Now imagine that song, but as a medley with Dolly Parton, along with Parton’s other song, “I Will Always Love You.”
It has truly set the standard for NYE events and the outpouring of love for their performance was obvious.

If you don’t know yet, Dolly Parton is Miley Cyrus’ Godmother.
Some of their earliest times together were when Parton appeared in ‘Hannah Montana’ with Miley Cyrus in 2006. She makes a guest appearance for four seasons as Aunt Dolly. The young musician has since complimented her godmother and performed in honor of her while Parton also shared her fondness for Miley.
