Do you wake up & cry for staying at home?
An NHS nurse experiencing panic attacks acknowledge bursting into tears after working with the ongoing pandemic patients because she’s so scared, adding that her mask fits her face so tightly that it hurt.
Frankie Creedy, from Taunton in Somerset relocated from her loved ones to keep them safe while working as a Pediatric Nurse at the Musgrove Park Hospital.
Frankie Creedy, from Taunton in Somerset acknowledged bursting into tears after working with the ongoing pandemic patients because she’s so scared
In a heart-touching Facebook post to people complaining they are frustrated and lonely as a result of the lockdown, Creedy said: ‘Please come and hang out with me for 5minutes. I promise you will be scared and certainly would forget being bored.’
There have, however, been over 260 confirmed cases in Somerset and have recorded an estimated 12 deaths, while the United Kingdom toll has equally surged 6000 after recording 900 fatalities per day.
She continued: ‘Have you ever wake up and cry because you have to stay home another day? I woke up and cried, most especially as it’s my turn to float to the positive floor.’
Creedy added that anyone would definitely be scared if in her position. She admitted she has no time for people complaining about missing their loved ones because her patients are isolated and all alone in a hospital.
Accordingly, she revealed she can’t even taste drinking water because she’s not permitted to remove her mask in a bid not to infect herself.
Urging people to see the illness from her perspective, Creedy stated: ‘Just imagine putting on masks so tight to your face for an hour, while still having twelve more hours to work. Also, imagine crying your eyes out and experiencing panic attacks at work because everyone is so uncertain.’
She concluded: ‘Please stay the F home.’
