Nurse, 21, Writes Her Will Over Fears For Her Life On Frontline

A young nurse of the pandemic frontline has written her will over fears she could pass away from the deadly virus. Kate O’Flaherty revealed she told her partner where to find it she falls sick.

In an open message to a nation on shutdown, the 21-Year-Old said: ‘If you’re finding it difficult to place yourself in the shoes of healthcare workers at the moment, let me paint you a photo – I wrote my will already.’

‘I kept it away in my room and told my partner where it is should in case anything happens on the frontline. I am just 21.’

The frontline worker must, however, wait until after lockdown for two witnesses’ signatures in order to validate the document. @trishthefishTD open note came after Farewill offered free wills, which usually cost £90 to NHS workers after a spike in visits to its website.

‘It’s a scary time for us all, where even the most experienced of us are learning new things now. This time in 2019, nurses were on strike to no avail and this year, we are being dubbed heroes. We don’t want you to call us heroes and we don’t want you to clap for us.’

‘We want you to come out and fight for us, ensuring nurses, carers, student nurses and everyone else in the nursing profession gets the right treatment and pays they work for. We need everyone to come together, we need you to fight for the nurses.’ Kate of Dublin added.

Reacting, internet users were quick to express their support for the nurse, acknowledging they are eternally grateful to health workers while also apologizing for government failure. Kate was equally praised for bravery after hearing about her written will.
