Nikki Bella Reveals There is Too Much Pressure To Lose Weight After Pregnancy

Critics had called her ‘Still big.’

The societal pressure of bouncing back into an hourglass shape, having welcomed a child, undeniably affects many women. Women are faced with an unfair burden to lose weight, and truthfully, there isn’t any need to conform to beauty standards that aren’t objective.

While most new moms are expected to concentrate on making their life better, surveys have revealed the high level of dedication moms put into getting back into shape quickly. Although it appears to be a good thing regarding their health, it can equally drive them into unnecessary items that can later be harmful.

37-Year-Old Nikki Bella revealed she dislikes the pressure put on women to lose weight after welcoming a child

The mentioned above is what 37-Year-Old Nikki Bella recently preached about. In an Interview with Ashely Graham on her Pretty Big Deal Podcast, the Reality TV revealed she dislikes women’s pressure to lose weight after welcoming a child. ‘I am looking in the mirror, and then I think us in the spotlight have much pressure to get back to where we were in a short amount of time.’ The Dancing with the Stars Vet said.

Nikki welcomed her first child – a son named Matteo with fiancé Artem Chingvintsev in July 2020. The discussion was hinged on postpartum depression, of which she added: ‘What I’ve realized is as moms we don’t talk enough because I think we feel like everyone automatically thinks we hate our baby if we say we have postpartum depression, that’s not it at all.’

She continued: ‘It’s the battle within yourself, within your partner or significant other. Especially, I think, for career women. We go from like major careers, and then we’re here. And then I am looking in the mirror, and I think us, in the spotlight, we have much pressure to get back to where we were in a short amount of time.’

It turned out Brie Bella, Nikki’s twin sister, has assisted her in accepting the post-baby physique. Accordingly, Ashely, who owns an 11-month-old named Isaac with husband Justin Ervin, agreed to the expectations of snapping back but did brand the whole idea bulls***.
