BookXcess, a Malaysian-based bookstore chain has launched the latest addition to their collection: A rare concept dubbed ‘The Box of Knowledge.’

Situated in Sunway Iskandar, Johor, the newly launched 32,000-square ft bookstore has officially granted accessibility to book lovers of all ages in the Southern Region of Malaysia.

Good News: If you are residing in Singapore, it’s just 20 minutes away from Tuas Checkpoint! Featuring science-fiction to thriller books, the mega bookstore also has cookbooks and business management books.

In particular, guests will be able to find almost anything at BookXcess Sunway Big Box Outlet. Reading sections equally features customers browsing their purchases.

Interestingly, for reading enthusiasts parents with little readers, the bookstore has an area designed for young readers. Titled ‘The BookXcess Children’ cave, the area features Magical Books incorporated with Augmented Reality (AR) Technology.

While children are given an opportunity to experience an interactive reading experience, the store has announced a special promotion until March 31, 2020. Potential customers are given the chance to buy two magical books in order to get one free or perhaps three magical books to get two for free.

Co-Founder of BookXcess Sdn Bhd, Andrew Yap revealed the company is on a goal is to bring back the practice and love of reading.

‘We are calling all parents to implant the reading practice and increase the number of books exposed to their kids in terms of variety. Reading helps to increase knowledge, one’s thinking process, builds character, and importantly helps in broadening your awareness of environmental, economic and social issues.’ Yap explained.
