Netflix’s Penn Badgley Stalker Drama, YOU is set to return on December 26^th. Revealing its second season will feature a few changes to the existing formula, Joe Goldberg will relocate from his native New York to Los Angeles and interestingly, will have a new love interest.

Netflix has confirmed that You, which follows the escapades of a bookstore owner Joe Goldberg, will finally return on December 26 with Season II

Sera Gamble, the producer has also revealed her motive for the movie, stating it would be abundantly clear to viewers who witness the last character being challenged with Candice Stone, ex-girlfriend.

‘Well, I will be going into Joe’s early life in season two. We want to know more and move deeper into his life. I will say that the whole time we were in the writers’ room analyzing what the story could be, flashbacks and even glimpses into his life, it has been a guiding principle for us all. He clearly had a terrible childhood, but doesn’t contribute to his adulthood.’ Sara told cosmopolitan.

She added: ‘We planned on making it clear that a lot of us had terrible childhoods and many of us don’t do what Joe Goldberg does.

Victoria Pedretti, who will be playing Love Quin is believed to be the new object of Joe’s affection in the coming season

The season two will not be hinged on the murder carried out by Joe. In the closing episode of season one, he had killed and disposed of the body of Guinevere Beck, his girlfriend.

‘He’s heartbroken after Beck  and also we are keenly aware that individuals are coming to the show after season I and have also fallen in love with Elisabeth Lail.’ Sera said.
