Netflix Has Two Main Features Disney+ Doesn’t: Too Early To Compete?
It will take time, but perhaps, too early?
When Disney decided to challenge Netflix in their main playing field, it’s pretty much a given that fans and users of Netflix will expect at least Netflix standard and better. For years Disney+ seems to be promising something better than Netflix, offering Disney+ exclusive content and beloved classic tales such as ‘Dumbo’ and ‘The Mandalorian’.
But users are noticing that the app is lacking in several features, such as ‘Continue watching for’ and ‘Watch it again’.
Disney+ has only launched for two weeks, but users’ expectations are especially high. Several have found that Disney may have rushed their launch, seeing how it didn’t have a smooth start with thousands of users facing connection issues on the very first day.
But on the other hand, the company sorts its show based on the brands: Disney, National Geographic, Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar. The main selling point here is the availability of classic tales that people have been waiting for and of course, the exclusive content, such as deleted scenes from ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
