Mom Sparks Online Debate About How She Handles Her Kids’ Tantrums
“Not funny. Don’t ignore your kids.”
Becoming a parent is a magical experience for many. Life-changing is the general understanding of what it’s like to welcome a new member of the family.
But that doesn’t mean you don’t have complaints about the job, like what this mom from New Zealand shows.
Brandi O’Neill-Smith is a 25-year-old mom of two daughters who loves making family content on her TikTok account that has over 10.5k followers. And many of them are just way too relatable, like this one where she shows what it’s been like lately as her daughter’s speech is more eloquent than before.
To be more accurate, her daughter has been calling out ‘mommy’ multiple times throughout the day for completely random things.
She hilariously mouthed ‘mommy’ while her daughter called out for her and they were all on spot down to the length. You can guess just how many times this has happened for her to nail it perfectly while filming this.
Now with over 7.7 million views, many parents relate to what she’s experiencing, but there are those who don’t think it’s laughable.
Some people think she should’ve replied with one commenting, “Sensing that kid wants mom…”
“Not funny. Don’t ignore your kids,” one warned her.
“Answer the kid already?” wrote another.
But fellow parents relate so much to her video when it comes to the constant calling of ‘mommy.’
One user explains why she might have done that.
And this is the answer to those of you who were wondering if she had something important to tell Brandi: “She wanted her Bratz doll hair tied up in the end if you were wondering,” she wrote in the comment.
Well, the majority of the masses found it hilariously relatable.
