Millie Bobby Brown, 17, denies Hunter ‘Echo’ Ecimovic’s claim on their sexual relationship vehemently. The man had made several surprising claims on his Instagram Live back on Monday, saying that he’d slept with the actress when she was still 16.
The two had been seen together a few times back in 2020, and the ‘Stranger Things’ actress looked happy.
Ecimovic shared an apology video afterward, blaming it on the alcohol.
In the original video, the 21-year-old man made several inappropriate remarks about their relationship and claimed he had lived under the same roof as Millie’s family. The TikTok star added he “thought her mum and dad knew about everything.”
In his apology video, Ecimovic admitted he was “not OK with how I went about stuff.”
“That was a stupid idea on my part to think it was gonna be OK to just continue to go live as it was getting more and more negative in the comments.”
As negative comments were thrown, he claimed that they made him more irritated. He reasoned, “I said stuff that should have never been said. But my natural instinct when I see people doing that kind of stuff, or when I see what people are saying, I’m like, OK, let’s make it way worse and let’s antagonize, which is so stupid. But that’s how I decided to handle it.”
The ‘Enola Homes’ actress’ side made it clear that it won’t end with only an apology.
Her representative told Daily Beast, “Mr. Ecimovic’s remarks on social media are not only dishonest but also are irresponsible, offensive, and hateful. Instead of engaging in public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all.”
The age of consent in California, where Ecimovic lives, is 18.
The age of consent in England for the British actress was 16. It’s also the same as in Atlanta, Georgia, where she owns a house at.
In his drunken state, as he hung out with his friends, Ecimovic made a few ruthless, sexual comments about the actress. While angry fans were flooding his comment section, he said, “You guys don’t know the story of anything, and I will never apologize. I hope you know that.”
“I have nothing to apologize for, so make that clear. I have zero things to apologize for. You guys do not know a single thing at all.”
