Michael B. Jordan And Lori Harvey Breakup After A Year Together
With so many lovely pictures of the two of them, Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey’s split have been pretty surprising. People reported that the two were “completely heartbroken” about the breakup and they “still love” each other.
The two have remained quiet about their split up.
The insider who shared about the breakup added, “Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term.”
“He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”
The 35-year-old walked with Lori Harvey on his side on the red carpet for the first time on March 27 for the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
The two weren’t seen together at Met Gala last month on May 2. But despite that, Michael had reshared a picture of her and commented, “Probably my fav pic. The composition says so much. Bird’s eye view of a moment you’ve dreamed about for so long finally manifested & you didn’t disappoint! Way to shine baby girl. I love you.”
At the Cannes Film Festival two weeks later, the daughter of comedian Steve Harvey was also seen alone again for the screening of the “Final Cut”. Rumors had it that problems in their relationship began weeks before she returned from France.
They went Instagram official in January 2021 and celebrated their anniversary in November that year.
Michael made a tribute to her on social media and captioned, “It been a year crazy!!!”
Then in the next month, the ‘Black Panther’ actor commented about his relationship with Lori which seemed to be going well based on their posts. He spoke of how he’s found himself a way to take on challenging roles he thought he didn’t have enough experience on.
“There are roles that I passed on that I knew I didn’t have enough life experience to play. I was like, ‘What can I pull from?'” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “But I finally found what love was.”
“When I was younger, I don’t know if I could have handled the onslaught of opinions and being picked apart, and also being conscious of what the other person’s going to go through.”
“It takes a special person to deal with that.”
“There’s a premeditated planning of staying out of the way [of the public eye] that sometimes kills spontaneity and intimacy. I wanted to take that away and give this the best chance it had, in this weird world that we live in, to be somewhat normal.”

Lori was also gushing over her then-boyfriend in an interview on The Real. She said, “We just really balance each other. I really do believe in the statement when they say, ‘When you know you know.’ And I think that really applies to our situation and we just have a really good time together.”
The SKN owner complimented the man as “sweet, very attentive” among many things. She explained, “He listens to me and the things that I say that I want and he really makes an effort… really good at all the big things.”
But that’s not all. She continued, “Valentine’s Day, birthdays, all that, but it’s the little things, the everyday things that I think really is what makes him special, like he just listens to me when I talk.”
“Even the other day, I just been saying I really just wanted to go to a farmer’s market, so he called me one Sunday morning and was like, “What are you doing, I’m going to come pick you up'” and he took me an hour away to this really cute farmer’s market and we had the best day. So, it’s things like that.”
Lori captioned an Instagram story post on Michael’s birthday back in February with “4Lifers” and then congratulated him, “Happy birthday to my big baby! Can’t wait to see what amazing things this year brings for you my love.”
While Lori has cleaned her page, Michael still keeps their posts up.
