Megan Fox And MGK’s Halloween Costumes Are So Extra And Christians Are Furious
“Christianity is not a costume.”
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are under fire after sharing their latest Halloween costumes. The rapper dressed up as a Catholic priest with Fox wearing an even more provocative look as if depicting the devil chained by the priest. And the absurdity of their looks just seems to fit in line with their controversial actions so far.
They shared the pictures they took together of the outfits within a building that was decorated like the inside of a church.
Fox captioned her post, “On Sundays, we take communion.”
The sensual looks from the two while using a religious theme definitely don’t sit well with some people.
One user commented, “If you don’t believe in God or are religious then that’s a personal choice but to make fun and mock something so sacred is a vile act no matter who you are, what your beliefs nor where you come from.”
An angry Christian commented, “Repent. Jesus Christ died for what you are doing right now. You have children. Where is the example? The respect? Christianity is not a costume. It’s not a religion. It’s a relationship with God.”
“She came out recently and said she does some kind of blood sacrifice with her bc, I’m pretty sure that she is a satanist now. Pray for her, and anyone else who’s fallen into the snares of Satan,” wrote another.
Another questioned, “Why is it that all you celebs mock Christianity? What’s the agenda? And why do yall hate God so much? I guess the devil is real.”
“Totally dislike these costumes and to mock communion is sad to me. I’m a fan of you both but damn this was just like a total ‘wtf’ moment for me,” wrote one disappointed fan.
But that wasn’t the only costume they were criticized for. Before the priest costume. Before this, the two reenacted some famous photos of Pamela Anderson and her abusive partner, Tommy Lee.
They were being blasted for romanticizing an “abusive relationship” and the toxicity that landed Tommy half a year in jail and earned Pam trauma as a domestic violence survivor. Fans were confused why they “glorified” the relationship with their costumes.
One user wrote, “I don’t understand why we romanticize this relationship. Pam has said how terrible and abusive it was. It wasn’t goals.”
But the couple hasn’t reacted to the heavy criticisms, which has been how they handled every time the couple is involved in something controversial.
