Meet Eris, The Dog With The Unique Appearance Of A Wolf Hound
Margareth SPublished on
How does it feel like to have a dog breed that bears a close resemblance to a greyhound? Awesome, isn’t it? But yes, that breed very much exists and they have such a long snoot, it’s just impossible to not fall in love with them. And they are domesticated breeds!
That’s exactly why Eris is such a beloved little queen in her home.
Meet Madam Eris Overbite, Queen of Snoots.
The girl that recently turned two has such a unique appearance with her slender body and long snoot. Eris, the regal queen she is, receives unlimited from her two owners since she was a pup in 2018.
Borzois are Russian sighthounds that originate from central Asian countries as that’s where they were brought from. The name borzoi literally translates into fast because these hounds can reach up to 35 to 40 miles per hour according to American Kennel Club.
Borzois are also pursuit dogs who were bred for the purpose of hunting. These clouds love to chase after creatures and enjoy having a large space to zoom around (like what Eris has!).
They also come in various standard coat colors from pure white to a mix of white, brown, and black.
These dogs are also calm and gentle creatures, as you can see how poised Eris is in the picture below. These gorgeous creatures love to take their time relaxing when not playing, making them almost the perfect cat except for their huge size.
Between all kinds of sighthounds, Borzois bear the closest resemblance in terms of personalities to greyhounds.
