Man Travels With A Pillow Of His Wife’s Face Since She Can’t Join Him On Vacation

The loving couple, Raymond and Joanne Fortunado, had both planned to go on a vacation together to Coron, Palawan. The duo looked forward to crystal-clear waters, cocktails, and delicious cuisine, but sadly, Joanne was called up for work and, as a result, canceled her plans at the last minute. 

And since preparations had been made, Raymond had no choice but to go ahead to the tropical island. 

As anyone would have felt, the personal trainer was disappointed but eventually came up with a unique way to ensure his wife still got to share in his adventure. Raymond took a stuffed pillow with Joanne’s face [pictured above] and ensured he posted pics of his daily adventures on social media. 

He took photos with the pillow while shopping, snorkeling, and even while having breakfast.

Raymond also got the meme-face pillow’s temperature checked at the airport in accordance with COVID-19 protocols and even convinced some locals to pose with the pillow. “Don’t leave your valuable things unattended,” he captioned a photo that showed the pillow on a baggage conveyor belt. 

As per Philippine News Portal Kami, Raymond’s gesture was all about honoring his promise to his wife that she would be with him wherever he went. 

However, in the comment on his photos, one person wrote: “I laughed so hard but so cute.” Another wrote: “You are different buddy, hehe.” A few people expressed they were amazed at what Raymond did, with one stating: “You’re really different baby, so sweet.”
