‘Leave Her Alone!’ Amber’s BFF Eve Barlow Gets Furious Over ‘Escape Home’ Rumors

“How dare you support mockery, violence + dehumanization of a woman you don’t know.”

Eve Barlow, a close friend of Amber Heard, shared her anger over new reports the Aquaman actress will be getting away from her trial drama to an escape home. The journalist and loyal supporter of Heard, 36, had previously been kicked out of the courtroom for live-tweeting and texting during the defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Since then, Barlow continued to speak her mind and clap back at criticisms online.

Of the escape home rumor, she tweeted in response to headlines, stating: “It’s not an escape home if mainstream media is posting it all over the internet. FFS [for f**k’s sake].” In 2019, Heard had reportedly bought a three-bedroom, three-bathroom property and didn’t move into the abode near Joshua Tree until earlier this year.

In a separate post, Barlow also tweeted: “I don’t care who you believe or who you don’t believe, one person is subjected to global public vilification, incessant death threats, and harassments, and it’s once more – the fault of the public. How dare you support mockery, violence + dehumanization of a woman you don’t know. “

She added in another post: “Leave Amber Alone.”

Officially, Depp has WON his defamation trial against Heard. He had sued the actress over a 2018 op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post and insisted he’s never been abusive despite it being highlighted in the article. The Rum Diary countersued for $100M and said she was indeed a victim of abuse. However, Depp had made a surprise appearance in the UK at Jeff Beck’s show in England and was later seen at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Following closing arguments from both Depp and Heard’s legal team, the trial witnessed a seven-member jury in Fairfax County, Virginia.

At the time, Camille Vasquez had told Jurors: “While you deliberate, ask yourselves why Mr. Depp would put himself through this, expose every embarrassing detail of his life on national television. If he was guilty of anything, anything that Miss Heard accuses him of, we ask you, we implore you to render a verdict [for] Mr. Depp. We ask you to set the record straight that he is not the abuser she described and that she is not the heroic survivor she portrayed.”

In response, Heard’s team argued it was time for justice to be served, telling the jury: “We’re asking you to finally hold this man responsible. He has never accepted responsibility for anything in his life.”
