Kim Kardashian Says She Hates Her “Wrinkly” Hands And Called Them “Gross”
“I care. I really, genuinely care about looking good.”
The latest cover model for Allure magazine is the 41-year-old businesswoman and reality show star, Kim Kardashian, and the mom-of-four spoke had an in-depth talk about fashion and beauty in an interview with the magazine.
Kim wore a nude-tone bodysuit with a long braid of platinum hair curling around her, like Rapunzel. She spoke about how age is changing her viewpoint about beauty and self-love. The 41-year-old said, “I’m at peace with not being perfect and I wasn’t like that before.”
“I hate my hands – they’re wrinkly and gross.”
But she’s not as apprehensive about it anymore because those were also the hands she changed her baby’s diapers with and raised them. She continued, “I’ve lived life and changed so many diapers with these hands and I’ve snuggled my babies with these hands, so I’m okay with them.”
“[Getting older] doesn’t mean that I won’t strive for perfection, but you get to a point where you’re like, ‘Okay, my health is more important than anything else.'”
The SKIMS owner added that while it’s bothered her less, it doesn’t stop her from trying to stay and feel youthful.
She’s also spoken about plastic surgery. During the interview, she revealed that she’s only had one Botox injection on her forehead. She’s never had any filler in her lips or cheeks, saying, “Never filled either on, ever.” And her eyelashes are also real.
“I care. I really, genuinely care about looking good.”
“I probably care more than 90 percent of the people on this planet. It’s not easy when you’re a mom and you’re exhausted at the end of the day or you’re in school, and I’m all of the above.”
She does her skincare zealously late at night when her kids are in bed which includes “laser treatments.”
She’s also enjoying having platinum blonde hair, a color she got for her Met Gala look, and spoke about how it changed her “energy.”
“I’m sassier. I’m more confident as a blonde. As soon as I go back to brunette, I’m a boss. I’m also a totally different person when I have long, fake nails on. I have so much confidence – and I hate long nails! Every once in a while, I need that b****y boss energy. But when I have to write an essay, I’m like “Get these nails off me!” I can’t type.”
