“It’s going to be nasty.”

After two years of negotiation, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have finally settled their divorce case. The three-time Grammy winner agreed to split up with her talent manager husband and pay $45,601 every month for child support.

She also agreed to a $115k monthly fee of spousal support until January 31, 2024, on top of a one-time payment at the shocking sum of $1,326,161.

Despite all these facts, the joint custody the two have agreed to was one weekend a month with dad in Montana while the children remain with their mom in LA. Clarkson is also reimbursing the $50k private jet travel for the children who are not yet fully vaccinated.

Blackstock, who claims he’s resigning from the entertainment world to focus on ranching, pays Clarkson $12.5k every month until he moves out in June.

Blackstock will be keeping the cattle, livestock, stock dogs, and horses, their Ford F-350, Ford F-250, an ATV, the snowmobiles, and several hunting gears and a “golf simulator.”

Clarkson is keeping the family pets along with a baby grand piano, “all guns acquired prior and during the marriage,” a Can-Am 4-wheeler, a bush hog, and the rest of the hunting items. She also keeps a pick-up truck, a Ford Bronco, a Ford F-250, and the Porsche Cayenne.

An insider reveals that Clarkson is hell-bent on not agreeing to a settlement back in January.

The insider revealed, “She is devoting 100 percent of any free time she has preparing for the trial. When not filming her talk show, she is hunkered down with [attorney] Laura Wasser.”

While the divorce settlement on the co-parenting issue is done, the two will continue to fight to the bitter end to divide their finances. The insider explains, “She will not even entertain the idea of settling with Brandon. He will not get one penny from her that isn’t ordered by the judge. It’s going to be nasty.”

Blackstock, who wishes to continue ranching, wants to keep the ranch. He is under the agreement to take care of the $81k upkeep to keep the ranch.

It was also in this ranch the couple decided to spend their quarantine in. A source explained to Us Weekly, “Being in quarantine at the ranch together heightened their problems to the point of no return.”

The pair got married in 2013 in Tennessee, a year after they started dating. Blackstock was the son of Clarkson’s former manager.
