Kanye West Banned From Instagram For 24 Hours After Trevor Noah Attack
If he continues to violate the policies, additional steps will be taken.
On the grounds of hate speech, bullying, and harassment, Kanye West has been suspended from Instagram for 24 hours. During this time, the rapper will be unable to post, comment or even send DMs. And if he continues to violate the policies, the platform will have to take additional steps.
This move results from Kanye’s attack on Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
And now Trevor Noah!
Having repeatedly aimed at his ex-wife 41-Year-Old and her new boyfriend, 28-Year-Old Davidson, Ye recently lobbed a racial slur at 38-Year-Old Noah. Alongside a screenshot from Google search result that had described Noah as a South African Comedian, Kanye wrote: “All in together now. K-n baya my lord k-n baya K-n baya my lord K-n baya Oooo’ lord K-n baya.”
Particularly, Ye mocked Noah using the offensive “K-n” slur to replace the original lyrics in “Kumbaya.”
It’s allegedly a response to Noah’s discussion on “The Daily Show” about Kanye’s dynamic with Kardashian and Davidson. Noah had said: “What [Kardashian is] going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”
He even compared Kanye’s situation with Kardashian to his experience witnessing abuse as a child.
The comedian mentioned people thought his mother “Patricia” was overreacting before his stepfather shot her in the head. Thankfully, his mom survived the attempted murder. He then had asked: “As a society, we have to ask ourselves questions. Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming?
