‘Joker’ Tracking Shows A Record Number Of $82 Million For Its Weekend Debut

DC continues with their marketing effort to boost the hype for Joker and so far, analysts tracking has predicted that ‘Joker’ will land on theaters during the weekend of Oct. 4 to 6 with $82 millions based on NRG. Others have predicted the show to earn a gross between $77 million to $87 million.

Last year on October, Sony had their own titular character debut in ‘Venom’, grossing at $80.2 million before inflation-adjusted. But it’s not science nor has tracking been proven to be exactly accurate this year.

Another survey with tracking results recently released is Ang Lee’s sci-fi epic ‘Gemini Man’ which stars Will Smith. The epic sci-fi might debut at $29 million and hits the theater on Oct. 11. Range of prediction given by differing services ranges between $28 million to $30 million.

‘Gemini Man’ is the story of an elite assassin who has to run away from a clone of his younger self. It also stars Clive Owen, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Benedict Wong.
