‘John Wick’ Spin-off ‘Ballerina’ Will Be Directed By Len Wiseman

A spin-off on the successful trilogy blockbuster movie ‘John Wick’ that stars Keanu Reeves has been confirmed for months and it is titled ‘Ballerina’. Recently, Deadline reported that ‘Underworld’ director Len Wiseman will helm the project.

The project will focus on a female assassin now, a young woman who seeks to exact revenge on people who slaughtered her family. Shay Hatten, who wrote ‘John Wick: Parabellum’ and Netflix’s ‘Army of the Dead’, is chosen to write the script for the movie.

The movie will be produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski and executive produced by the star of ‘John Wick’ himself, Keanu Reeves.

The remaining question now would be who will act as the Ballerina in this movie. There have been no rumors nor confirmation on who will play the part. We’ve got a glimpse of her and the credits read Unity Phelan.

She’s a professional solo ballet dancer who has been performing on many stages. Many have shown support for her to appear as the main character for the spin-off. And on top of that, Keanu Reeves may just appear as a cameo. What do you think?
