Jennifer Coolidge Confesses She Slept With 200 People After Infamous American Pie Role
“I mean, there would be like 200 people…”
The 60-year-old actress was known for her seductive role in the ‘American Pie’ and, later, the ‘Legally Blonde’ flick. She was a sensation back in 1999 when the comedy flick dropped, a sex icon that actually created a culture.
“I got a lot of play at being a MILF, and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie,” said the actress who starred as Jeanine “Stifler’s Mom” Stifler in ‘American Pie.’
“There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with,” she admitted. “Maybe I got this special attention because people saw me as Stifler’s Mom.”

As Jeanine, the actress’s role seduced the classmate of her teen son, Paul Finch, portrayed by Eddie Kaye Thomas. And to her son’s horror, they slept and even had a few outings together. The movie made $235 million worldwide in 1999 and returned with sequels: ‘American Pie 2,’ ‘American Wedding,’ and ‘American Reunion.’
It was a successful role after so many rejections for years, as she shared, “Ten years of my life auditioning. None of it added up to a job.”
“The fear is gone when you’re so used to losing. There’s some freedom in that,” added ‘The White Lotus’ star. What’s also shocking was how she almost refused her role as Tanya in the series because she “didn’t like the way” she looked.
“The greatest thing was that no one knew if it was going to be anything!” she spoke about the series that was created by Mike White, her friend. “I feel like the coach asked the other actors to let me dribble the ball more. Give the ball to Jennifer once in a while. I get to shoot now.”
She’s finally gained her confidence after years of rejection. Sometimes she thought she wasn’t capable of roles, which was why she wasn’t given them. She said, “And then I make the decision that I am incapable of that. You actually have to have a Mike White that comes in and says, ‘I think you can do this.”
She’s now a popular actress with offers to pick from. She shared, “People that I could never get in the door – all of a sudden, they’re asking me to be part of their things.”
