Japanese Man Spent $15,000 To Become Collie So He Can Live Like An Animal

We have no right to tell children the limit of their dreams. But one probably did not take one of them seriously when they said they wish to be a dog. Because that kid grew up to be Toko-san who’s now living a fulfilling life as a collie.

Yes, a dog breed of collie. Under this super realistic forged skin of a dog is Toko-san.

Toko, who goes by the Twitter name @toco_eevee, shared that he’s spent 2 million Yen, or about $15,000, on the costume by commissioning Zeppet, a professional agency that made this possible. It took them 40 days to create this and Toko-san who “Dreams to be an animal” shared this life as a collie on his social media.

He shared, “I made it a Collie because it looks real when I put it on. I thought that a big animal close to my size would be good – considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog.”

A video of him dressed in the Collie costume and acting like a dog was shared earlier last month.

The man pretended to be a dog and waved his paw, walking on all four and even rolling over to show his stomach.

While some people think the costume looked awesome, others felt like he was going too far for something unattainable. One of the viewers commented, “No matter how much money you spent, you won’t be a real dog.”

But Toko-san was unperturbed and shared on his Twitter to Zeppet, “I ordered a costume! Thanks to you, I was able to fulfill my dream of becoming an animal!”

Zeppet’s spokesperson spoke about the outfit, “Modelled after a collie dog, it reproduces the appearance of a real dog walking on four legs.”

“There are restrictions, but you can move in it. However, if you move too much, it will not look like a dog.”

The internet is pretty divided on the topic as some people thought he went too extreme, but others praised him for reaching his dream, albeit bizarre.
