Influencer Filming Live-stream In Park Asks Man To Move Off Bench But He Refuses
“Are you Jesus now?”
A British moment went viral when a woman was live-streaming at a park. It was quite the odd encounter as the influencer could be clearly seen setting up her camera in front of the bench when a man decided to slide onto the bench behind her.
Obviously, the influencer politely asked him if he could move to another bench. But just like in a typical sitcom scene, he refused.
She was starting her fitness stream and not long into it, a man sat behind her.
She talked about her run but after noticing the man, she went behind her and asked him, “Excuse me. I’m just filming, are you alright to go to another park bench?”
But he just answered her, “And?”
It soon turned into quite the exchange between the two as she asked him again to move to the next bench, but he told her to move her camera instead.
“You’re going to be online now for everyone to see you,” he told him.

“I don’t care at all,” the man replied. He followed up, “Look, if you don’t like the answer, don’t ask the question.”
“My followers, I know, will not want to see you,” she told him.
He retorted, “Your followers? Oh so are you Jesus now?”
Now at over 21m views, it had got people discussing who was in the wrong. More were on the man’s side, but some argued that she was there first.
“Asking may result in a yes or no. He politely said no and she wouldn’t accept that. Cheers to the man for teaching her a lesson” wrote one user.
Another replied, “If anything, I want to see more videos of him interrupting people’s videos.”
But on the other side, she was being polite about it and he didn’t have to reply the way he did. One wrote, “He didn’t have to be so rude about it, she was being polite.”
“Man, I do kinda feel bad for that kid having to endure a mental joust with some dude,” wrote another.
Other observers agreed with both, that they were both in the wrong. A user noted, “Both are in the wrong; dude is being a d*** for no reason, lady is forgetting she’s recording videos in a public space, both could be nicer and compromising, bad vibes for everyone involved.”
There are those who think this was a set up with one pointing out, “She could move literally 10 meters away from the bench that she isn’t even using. Unless her tripod ways a ton I am not buying it.”
“Nobody was upset because it’s painfully obviously staged,” wrote another.
