TikToker London.babygray came under fire after getting her baby boy’s ears pierced.
In her video [ now-viral], @london.babygray was seen holding her newborn boy while he had his ears pierced. Just how old the little one is wasn’t revealed, but he appeared just a few months old. The mom looked quite nervous while the procedure took place.
The mom shared a video of the procedure to the platform, where it has been met with mixed reactions.
She was seen holding the boy to her chest while a woman shot the piercing gun into one lobe.
She was also left shocked to hear the sound of the earring piercing through the skin. Her baby boy then cried out for just a few seconds but eventually calmed down. The second ear wasn’t smooth sailing, and the piercer confirmed: “that one is always worse.” As the baby cried, the woman said: “I’m so proud. You look so cute.”

Despite being painful for the baby, the mom also flipped him around so the other ear could be pierced.
While the mom seemed satisfied with the procedure, TikTokers were utterly left unimpressed. The video has garnered over 353K views, 19K likes, and a thousand comments. One person said: “No words apart from why would you do that to a newborn.” Another said: “This made me so sad!!! Poor baby. His cry broke my heart.”
The boys’ age is unknown, but the mom used the hashtag #newborn, which indicated he’s still very young.
While the mom seems delighted, the video infuriated some TikToker who have accused the mom of cruelty.
A third asked: “Why pierce a boy. Insane.” While a fourth attested: “Too Young.” Another user stated: “Unnecessary pain to a child. Children that can voice this is their choice should only have this. Mum and ear piercer should not do this. Poor baby.” However, the mom didn’t seem to care and hit back with a comment: “Y’all realize I’m getting paid for all y’all weird obsessed comments. Go off, y’alll! Keep me paid.”
