A pet husky named Lucky recently went viral for sleeping throughout an armed robbery training session in a Jewelry store in Chang Ma, Thailand. A hilarious CCTV clip showed the dog ignoring a man who had approached the store counter while pointing a fake automatic handgun at Worawut Lomwanawong, the store owner.

The robber threatened Lucky’s owner for money, but as seen, the husky didn’t move an inch. Eventually, the robber got away from the store carrying a fake bag full of cash. Before the robber arrived at the store, the CCTV had shown Lucky sleeping on the floor by the entrance. When its owner got threatened, the dog casually continued her quiet nap, ignoring the whole situation.

Owner Worawut, who appears to be looking over to his dog, had hoped she would try to attack the bandit or perhaps bark at him but was left disappointed. In the end, the situation turned out hilarious, and of course, we can’t blame the pet for prioritizing her sleep. The training exercise was downright a failure, and the clip since gone viral has amassed over a million views and comments.

Speaking to BoredPanda, Owner Worawut revealed the incident was a Thai police training of what it would be like if a thief came into his store and stole all the jewelry. The armed robbery in the video, according to Worawut, is a policeman that dog Lucky already knew; hence it’s why she did nothing.

‘I found it very funny to see that she didn’t even try doing anything and continued to sleep. The main thing was that the police in my city wanted to do some security tests for the jewelry stores in the areas, and they picked mine for the case study. It was the first serious security test for my store.’ Worawut added.

Nonetheless, Lucky was previously a stray dog with tick-borne disease and venereal granuloma before Worawut took her in. She’s been living with him for the last seven years since found at the same convenience store and described as a brilliant dog.
