Strict parenting can be both good and harmful!

Overprotective parenting is done with the purest of intentions. Many parents have fixed their parenting course in a strict and disciplined phase, but it’s only helpful in the short-term. Parents acting like personal bodyguards have assisted many children in numerous areas, but it can negatively toll the child when carried beyond the limit. Besides, it’s expected that from age 18, an allowance of freedom can be permitted.

However, an allowance of freedom hasn’t be given to a 19-year-old who claims her parents still control her. The teen who’s presently in her first year at college says her parents’ tracks her outings, read through her emails, and even manage her bank accounts. This revelation emerged after a TikTok user asked: ‘Tell me you’ve strict parents without telling me you have strict parents.’
