Gino D’Acampo Claps Back At Haters Who Slammed Him For Kiss Daughter On The Lips
“Get over it and get a life.”
There’s nothing wrong with making sure your family knows you love them. Whether that’s hugging, words of affirmation, or kissing them – everyone expresses their love differently after all.
But celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has been getting complaints and “weirdo” comments after it was revealed that he kisses his daughter on the lips.
Shocking… not.
The ‘This Morning’ star often shares cute pictures with his eight-year-old daughter Mia on his social media among his recipe and cooking routine. And he’s very well aware of the comments he gets whenever he acts lovingly to his daughter.
He clapped back at his haters, “To all the haters out there……yes I still kiss my principessa on the lips, get over it and get a life.”
A few years ago, he’s receiving similar comments when he posted a picture of him cuddling with her daughter in bed.
And then last December, D’Acampo referenced that one picture and shared yet another video of him and Mia enjoying quality time on Twitter, “Last time I put a picture of me and you in bed giving kisses and cuddles a lot of people they thought it was weird.”
People have come in support of him, sharing their own family habits. One shared, “My dad’s 72 and I’m 41 and I kiss him on the lips too because he’s my dad.”
“Anyone who sees this as anything other than the love between a father & daughter is what’s wrong and the issue. if you’re sexualizing this you’re not well,” wrote another.
Another observer commented, “Blooming Nora, please tell me this is a joke? My son is 20 and I still kiss and cuddle him!”
“How can anyone say it’s wrong to kiss your child?!?!” read another comment.
