“They’re my favorite duet partner of all time.”

Jennifer Lopez and her child Emme have sent the internet into the wildAs you’re possibly aware, the singer shares 14-Year-Old twins – Emme and Max, with her ex-March Anthony. Emme has been joining Lopez on stage, duetting Limitless in her 2019 It’s My Party Tour and performing at the 2020 Super Bowl.

Yet again, mom-child has performed at a recent Blue Diamond Gala and what’s more interesting is that Lopez introduced Emme using gender-neutral pronouns.

In videos that captured the performance, J. Lo began: “The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this. I ask them to sing with me all the time, but they won’t. So this is a very special occasion. They are very, very busy. Booked. And pricey! It costs me when they come out.”

“But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me,” She added before Emme started singing Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years with a rainbow microphone.

They also joined J. Lo for a verse of Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA and the intro of Let’s Get Loud. So far, many people have interpreted the performance as an affirmation of Emme’s pronouns and applauded J. Lo for respecting them. However, photos from the performance have since been shared via a J. Lo fan account. The pics saw Emme dressed in a fuchsia shirt, matching shorts set, and a black Dodger’s baseball cap.

The account captioned the images: “JLo and Emme killed the stage last night.”
