Fans Demand Disney And Warner Bros To Apologize To Johnny

Fans of Johnny Depp have taken to Twitter to slam both Disney and Warner Bros for casting him out of the 6th sequel of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. The entertainment companies were equally criticized for siding Amber Heard, 36, without getting to know the whole truth.

Depp was set to again play his role as Captain Jack Sparrow but lost it due to domestic abuse allegations.

The 58-Year-Old was also asked to step down from his role as Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts franchise following the 2018 op-ed Amber wrote in the Washington Post. His fans have now urged Disney & Warner Bros to tender a public apology to Depp owing to their lack of support during the six-week trial.

Some suggested the companies should pay Depp more, especially as they’ve burned all bridges with him. 

The defamation trial between Depp and his ex-wife Amber ended, and the jury concluded the Aquaman star, in fact, defamed the actor. And as a result, Depp was awarded $15million, and Heard was awarded $2million. Since his win, the actor has thanked the jury as he said: “And six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled.”

He added: “From the very beginning, the goal of bringing this case was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome. Speaking the truth was something that I owed to my children and to all those who have remained steadfast in their support of me. I feel at peace knowing I have finally accomplished that.” 

Of fans demanding an apology for the actor, one user said: “WARNER BROTHERS & DISNEY NEED TO FORMALLY APOLOGIZE TO JOHNNY DEPP.” Another said: “So you guys gonna like publicly apologize to Johnny Depp? Maybe tripling his salary to return to #PiratesoftheCaribbean would be a lovely start. #DeppvsAmberHeard #DeppHeardTrial #JohnnyDepp #disney.”

A third stated: “Disney is deeefinitely pissed they burned the bridge with #JohnnyDepp. A pirates’ movie after being proven innocent would have smashed the box office. Way to go, idiots.”

And a fourth insisted: “I think you owe Captain Jack Sparrow an apology. And be sure to grovel! #DeppVsHeard #JohnnyDepp #Disney.” 

The tweets went on as another said: “#Disney and #WarnerBros owe #JohnnyDepp a HUGE apology!! #JusticeForJohhnyDepp was served today! He did not deserve what was done to him! #JohnnyDeppIsInnocent.” A sixth also stated: “#JohnnyDepp’s case gave hope to many innocent men who are victims of false accusations by women like #AmberHeard. Power to you, Johnny!”

Another went on: “Hey #Disney just a quick one… Will you be issuing a public apology to #JohnnyDepp for casting him as guilty until proven innocent without hearing all the facts? Well, the facts have outed themselves today. We ALL will be waiting… #JusticeForJohhnyDepp #DeppHeardTrial.” Someone else wrote: “#Disney and #WarnerBros owe #JohnnyDepp a public apology #JusticeForJohhnyDepp.”

This user simply stated: “#Disney and #WarnerBros owe #JohnnyDepp an apology for siding with the vile liar #AmberHeard. Their bias is obvious and has been for years, but now the tide has turned.”
