Elliot page might not exactly remember how long he had been seeking, but he sure remembers the feeling to triumph. Yet again, the transgender actor is in the news as he expressed his joy at donning swimming trunks for the first time. This comes just weeks after he spoke about his life-changing surgery in an interview with Oprah.

In a candid discussion with Oprah, Page explained how he chose to open up about his own experiences in the hopes of showing others how life-saving gender affirmation surgery is for Trans people.

Before this, Page, during an interview with TIME, his first since coming out as a transgender person and non-binary, shared he had undergone top surgery, a subcutaneous mastectomy during which the breasts and tissues are removed to establish a masculine identity chest. The actor spoke of the result with Oprah claiming it helped him feel like his true self for the first time since he endured a total hell of puberty.

Page officially came out as a Trans in December 2020.
He had equally added that it completely changed his life and that seeing how his body looks have been one of the things that brought forth so ‘most joy.’ However, Page’s pose in Swim trunks has since been flooded with supportive comments.

Page, who found fame for starring as a pregnant teen, previously struggled with gender dysmorphia.

The reports of their separation weren’t all public until Page came out as transgender. Nonetheless, the actor claims they will remain close friends, and Emma has since voiced her support for her ex, stating she’s proud of Page.
