Drake Blew $1M At A Strip Club A Day After Astroworld Tragedy

This occurred just hours after eight people died at the concert.

A day after performing alongside Travis Scott at Astroworld Festival, where nine people died in the crush, Rapper Drake was spotted in a strip club in Houston. Videos revealed that Drake spent $1million on strippers at Area 29 strip club. The clips, which the club has since deleted, continue to circulate online and have also captured Instagram Star DJ Akademiks.

Some Instagram photos also showed the floor of the club entirely covered in dollar bills. The since-deleted post by the club had tagged @chamagnepapi, which is Drake’s Instagram account, among others, and it read: “Thank u, last night vibes were on point GRAND FINALE TONIGHT SUNDAY FUNDAY.”

The club added: “2 floors covered with money and EVERY DANCER who worked last night went home happy thank y’all for the love and support WE RUNNING IT BACK 2 NIGHT! @area29thtx SUNDAY FUNDAY.” In a separate post [also deleted], DJ Akademiks shared a video of about nine dancers reveling as they count up their cash.

“Say thank Drake!” A man shouted in the background while the women responded: “Thanks, Drake!” According to The Sun, Drake is known to be a regular at the club and had visited the week before the tragedy. However, Drake and Travis Scott are presently named in lawsuits surrounding the concerts, which witnessed a ninth woman lose her life on Thursday.

At Travis’ concert, Bharti Shahani, a 22-year-old college student, became the ninth victim of the tragedy.

Eight victims between the ages of 14 and 27 have died. A 9-year-old boy is in the hospital fighting for his life.

Speaking about the deadly crush, Drake had taken to his Instagram and wrote: “I’ve spent the past few days trying to wrap my mind around this devastating tragedy. My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and for anyone who’s suffering. I will continue to pray for all of them and will be of service in any way I can. May God be with you all.”

However, Drake at Houston came just hours after eight people died and 300 others were injured at NRG Park.

Earlier, Drake and Travis partied at Dave & Busters the same night as Astroworld.

However, it remains unclarified if Travis had been with Drake when he visited the club. But then, the pair are believed to have attended a Dave & Buster’s after-party following the Astroworld concert. On the other hand, Travis is being sued by at least 150 victims for inciting mayhem and stands to lose billions after over 300 people were treated at an emergency field hospital.
