‘Shameless’ Disney Guests Beat Soaring Ticket Fees By Sneaking Kids In Strollers
With the cost of taking the family to Disney soaring, parents are getting creative.
Disney World is becoming rather expensive. And to cut costs, some parents are getting creative hiding their pretty aged children in strollers, pretending they were babies to avoid ticket fees. Entry for one person ranges from $109 to $159 per day, depending on the date and time, and every visitor aged three and up must pay for a ticket.
A TikTok of a woman who disguised her elementary school-age child as a baby has gone viral while sparking a debate on whether it’s wrong or genius.
“When Disney ticket prices go up. Poor Kid was in an infant car seat,” the video caption reads. It shows a group waiting in line to purchase tickets for the park with a baby-appropriate stroller, and then a Disney cast member glancing into the stroller but doesn’t have anything to say about the older child rolling past her, who was covered in a blanket.
As the group walked past the staff, the video showed that the woman lifted her little girl out of the stroller and threw the blankets back onto the seat.

The original poster said in the comments of TikTok: “We [paid] for our tickets and witnessed the funniest thing we had ever seen & so we decided to share it so you can laugh too.” But in response, many admitted to employing the same strategy as someone wrote: “My son is 4 [four], but at Disneyland, he knows he’s 2.” Another agreed: “My parents [used] to make me do this.”
A third empathized: “I fully support this because we went in May, and it was literally like taking a second mortgage out on our house.”
The comments went on, with a fourth stating ‘We just teach our kids to lie about their age, but this is epic.” Another shared: “I once did that [with] 3 kids’ lol. I told them if they stay quiet, I’ll buy them all Disney dresses, lol.” However, not everyone was in support as one shaded the people in the video: “The way people have no shame continues to amaze me.”
Another in disagreement shared: “No way. I even explain to my kids it’s wrong to get fountain drinks with a water cup. It’s the principle of it.”
A third said: “I would understand if they had like 4 kids, but they only had I, but shoo, they probably had to use her ticket money to pay for the gas to get there.” Some former Disney World workers also chimed in, sharing how they used to handle such a situation. One ex-worker claimed they didn’t pay enough to care THAT much, while another said they’ve never been mad at parents sneaking in their children.
