On releasing her seasonal anthem ‘Cool For The Summer’ in 2015, Demi Lovato has been quite open about her true sexuality.  Two years into being herself, Demi admitted she’s identified as sexually fluid.

In a recent interview with Andy Cohen, Demi further revealed she didn’t come out to her parents not until 2017, describing the moment of truth as emotional but totally beautiful.

She said: ‘Right after everything was done. I found myself shaking and crying. I felt really overwhelmed. But in all, I have incredible parents and they are super supportive.

‘My mother was the main person I was super nervous about. In the end, she was like I just want you to be happy and that was so amazing. It was beautiful and I am grateful.’  Demi added.

She continued that her Dad’s reaction was something in line with ‘Yeah, obviously, because of ‘Cool For The Summer’

She moved on to revealing her future, saying she’s uncertain whether she would settle down with a man/woman or perhaps just have a family.

‘I am still figuring it out. I don’t know what the future presents. I can’t tell if I am going to have kids this year or in the next ten years. I don’t know if I am going to do it with or without a partner, because women don’t actually need partners.
