Dad Went Viral For Turning His Baby Boy Into Elf On The Shelf
Finally, there’s a real-life elf!
Christmas might be all about gifts for your children, but for a few parents, it’s about costumes and a family-size photograph. And if you’ve got more than a child, they can be a prime target for fun themed Christmas costume where the sum is greater than the parts. For Alan Lawrence, a dad-of-six taking the Christmas tradition to a whole next level was the aim with his 4-month-old baby boy.
The Utah-based took on the well-known Elf on The Shelf character and turned his baby boy Rockwell into the most adorable elf ever. Specifically, the dad created an entire story about his little elf, began documenting his adventures, and uploaded them on his ‘That Dad’ blog.
With his wife’s assistance in making Rockwell’s costume, Lawrence plans to share new photos until Christmas. But one which has amassed recognition is the photos of a little elf in dangerous situations. As expected, you would be concern about the toddler, but it turned out Lawrence is quite perfect with photo editing as he’s presently an art director.

‘All of our friends to the Elf on the Shelf, and I have always thought it was sort of creepy, but fun too. This idea of an elf living in your home and moving around to different places, and I am like, what if it was a real-life elf? And of course, being parents, we have the cutest 4-month-old boy. So we made a fun series.’ Lawrence told TODAY.
From tiny caught wrapping the Christmas tree in toilet paper to enjoying syrup a little bit too much, Rockwell, with Down syndrome, will surely make good hilarious memes, as seen via his compiled photos. ‘He’s just a good-natured kid; he will be laughing and looking at me, exactly what we need for the shot. It’s almost like he knows what we are trying to accomplish.’ Lawrence added.
Nevertheless, these mischievous adventures will continue until Christmas; hence brace up for a daily dosage of adorableness intake. Besides, let’s also applaud Rockwell’s mom as she’s quite doing a fantastic job with the costumes.
