Courteney Cox Reveals Past Cosmetic Procedures Left Her Looking Really ‘Strange’
She’s now embracing a more natural version of aging.
Courteney Cox is looking forward to turning 60 in the nearest future. And as she awaits this to happen, the “Friends” Legend, amid promoting her new comedy-horror TV Series “Shining Vale set to premiere on March 6th on Starz, has also opened up about her previous cosmetic procedures.
Speaking with Sunday Times Style Magazine, the Mom-of-mom spoke of her evolving face and insisted she has finally embraced her age.
The Instagram Influencer said to Sunday Times: “There was a time when you go, “Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older. And I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years. And I didn’t realize that, oh s**t I am actually looking strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”
As her changing face became the headlines, Courteney revealed at that time, she finally realized she had to stop and that it’s been just crazy. The actress got so concerned that she had all of her fillers dissolved to look more like herself. She also admitted that being middle-aged is a little weird; however, she’s amazed at how fast time flew by.
“I can obviously relate to being that age where you’re like, ‘Oh wow, I can’t believe I’m right here and [asking] what makes you happy. I understand that midlife stuff completely.”
Courteney then looked back on her time on the ‘90s NBC Sitcom, recalling how her co-star and love interest Mathew Perry [Chandler Bing] placed a huge amount of pressure on himself to get laughs on Friends. She stated: “He’s just struggled for a while. I think he’s doing great now.” Speaking about aging, the enduring sitcom star said she feels like she’s young.
“I have a lot of friends in their 30s, and I don’t think about it. To me, we’re the same age until I actually study it.
And when it comes to turning the big 60, she exclaimed and said: “Oh God, it’s so hard to even hear or say. I can’t believe it. There’s nothing wrong with being 60, I just can’t believe it. Times goes so fast. There’s no question that I am more grounded, I’ve learned so much in my life. What to enjoy, what to try to do more of and what to let go of.”
