Couple Matched On A Dating App Finally Gone On Their First Date After Spending The Lockdown Matching Outfits

Right before the turn of the century, the hooking up of strangers via a mobile app remained unimaginable. But fast-forward to the present, platforms such as Bumble, Grindr, Hinge, Tinder, and Happn now sit on the phone screens of thousands of singletons.
As the pandemic hit, a lot of people questioned how dating apps and people who eventually met would survive. Fortunately, two brave people had countered the aforesaid, and interestingly had come up with matching outfits for future dates after the ease of lockdown.
Marina and Antoine had matched on a dating app and instantly hit it off, nevertheless, social distancing measures in France did keep them apart while patiently waiting for the right moment. It was undeniably worth it and now, they’ve officially gone had their first date.
Celebrating their relationship, Marina took to Reddit and share photos of their outfit preparations on a subreddit group titled r/aww. Garnering positive reactions, the cute photos have gone all viral, with over 125K likes.
Marina, a disability rights advocate and Antoine, a waiter, a DJ, and a graphic designer matched on the Bumble Dating App and started talking amid the lockdown. The duo got to know each other using a 300 questions document found by Marina on Reddit. After, they began doing phone calls, video-chatting before finally meeting in real life for their first date on May 11.

Going forward, the pair confirmed their first date was a successful one, admitting they felt so comfortable with one another. Marina, who is in a wheelchair is, however, working on her book titled ‘How Ableism Impacts Disabled People’s Lives.’ On the other hand, the couple can’t wait to spend more time together, while of course wearing matching outfits.
