Christina Aguilera Unfollows Britney Spears For Body-Shaming Her In A Post
Spears claims if she had Aguilera’s dancers, she would have looked small.
Britney Spears has received an immense backlash after her controversial post that body-shamed Christina Aguilera. Since the termination of her conservatorship in November allowed her to speak freely for the first time in 13 years, the 40-Year-Old has not shielded herself from calling out anyone and everyone.
Due to the cruel comment, 41-Year-Old Aguilera couldn’t help but unfollow Spears on Instagram.

And as of this time of writing, the controversial post, with the caption: “If I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small,” is still on the “Toxic” singer’s page. The message was penned alongside a quote attributed to Rodney Dangerfield: “I found there was only one way to look thin: hang out with fat people.”

Apart from unfollowing her pop rival, Aguilera has yet to publicly respond to the remark about her dancers’ bodies.
“Body shaming others is not the move,” a fan of Spears’ commented. Another urged: “You need to delete this.” While a third alleged: “This is rude. I’m disappointed, Britney.” Someone else suggested: “No need to put another woman down to feel better about yourself. Focus on your healing.”

This comes as Spears had earlier this week claimed she subconsciously wanted to offend people.
She told her Instagram followers that she had been so f**king offended throughout her life, particularly during her conservatorship, which placed her father, Jamie Spears, 70, in control of her personal, medical, and financial decisions. Previously, Spears had publicly blasted her family members in addition to exes such as Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline.

In 2021, Spears had taken aim at Aguilera, equating her silence on her conservatorship to lying.

“I love and adore everyone who supported me. But refusing to speak when you know the truth is equivalent to a lie!!!” Spears had written over a clip of Aguilera being interviewed at Thursday’s Latin Grammy Awards, where the Genie in a Bottle singer performed. She added: “13 years being in a corrupt, abusive system yet why is it such a hard topic for people to talk about???”
