Chrissy Teigen Is Accused Of Sending Cruel Private DMs & Trolling The “Teen Bride” Publicly On Twitter
The horrible tweets… were they really necessary to a teen girl?
After talking about almost quitting Twitter because of the trolls and harassments while speaking up against it, her own dark past came back to haunt her.
“I believe they do all they can to combat relentless bullying,” she wrote in her Instagram post.
No, she didn’t quit. She’s still just as active on Twitter now.
Just a few days ago, “teen bride” Courtney Stodden’s interview with The Daily Beast digs back at some of the horrible things Chrissy Teigen may have said to the still-teenager Courtney.
If anyone remembers Courtney, they made headlines as her mother signed off her 16-year-old daughter to be wedded to 50-year-old acting coach Doug Hutchison. She now identifies as a non-binary and uses they/them.
After that, a series of unbelievable things unfolded – the doctors were doing an ultrasound on their breasts to prove they were real. The celebrities openly bullied the teen, and nobody headed in to save the 16-year-old from the subsequent ‘grooming’ and abuse Courtney experienced.
The 26-year-old musician called the celebrity out on her past behaviors, dubbing John Legend’s wife as ‘hypoChrissy Teigen.’
“Seeing Chrissy Teigen leave Twitter over negativity and bullying was… I just couldn’t believe how hypocritical it was,” they said in the video shared by TMZ.
“Because I experienced so much harassment and bullying from her when I was just 16, 17, 18 years old. At a time when I needed help like I was being abused,” Courtney continued.
“She sent me multiple tweets. I chose that specific tweet because she’s actually bullying me about getting kicked off the social media platform which is ironic.”
“She has sent me so many different tweets, private DMs, up ’til a couple years ago. It really affected me and I think the bottom line is I never had a chance to forgive her.”
“It’s so damaging when you have someone like Chrissy Teigen bullying children.”
“I definitely think it’s time to speak out. I’m not going after her and to bully her and I don’t think it’s okay that people are bullying Chrissy. But I also don’t think it’s okay to cry wolf either.”
Stodden was finally divorced from Hutchinson in March 2020, resulting from their proceedings that started in 2018. Courtney said, “She wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take “a dirt nap” but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, “I can’t wait for you to die.”
