Chris Evans Off To Save Another Part of the World in ‘The Red Sea Diving’ Trailer
Chris Evans back to save the world. Part of it anyway.
Captain America passed over his shield to the next hero to hold it and we all thought that Chris Evans was done saving the world. Well, he might have as Steve Rogers, but he’s not in ‘The Red Sea Diving Resort’. Set in 1979 in Ethiopia, Chris Evans takes the same beard he grew in Avengers: Infinity War to the old world.
The film is based on real events of a group of Israeli intelligence agents and Ethiopians who smuggled out thousands of Ethiopian-Jewish refugees out of Sudan and into Israel safely. They used a hotel named ‘The Red Sea Diving Resort’ which is what the title of the movie is based on as a front.
“It wasn’t just a hotel. It was a last resort.”
The movie is written and directed by Gideon Raff who also worked on the original Israeli version of ‘Homeland’ series. The movie itself sees some solid supportive cast from our main rescuer, agent Ari Kidron played by Chris Evans, a dedicated local rescuer Kebede Bimro played by Michael Kenneth Williams who also starred in ‘The Wire’ as well as Haley Bennett from ‘The Magnificent Seven’, Boston native Alessandro Nivola from ‘Face/Off’, Michiel Huisman who played Daario Naharis in ‘Game of Thrones’, Chris Chalk who starred in ‘Detroit’, Greg Kinnear from ‘As Good as It Gets’, and Ben Kingsley who famously played ‘Gandhi’.
A new trailer of the show has recently dropped on Netflix, showing Chris Evans with his beard saving thousands of refugees in intense situations. He, along with his team, smuggled them through a hotel and the rest of the stories can be found out when the movie drops on July 31 on Netflix.

Endgame may have been Chris Evans’ last chance to reprise his role as Captain America. His other upcoming movie is titled ‘Knives Out’ which is set to hit the theater later this year on November 27, 2019. His exact role has not yet been confirmed, but it’s been revealed to be a “modern murder mystery in a classic whodunit style.”
Chris Evans has also been set as a character in ‘Jekyll’ as Tom Jackman which will be produced by show host Ellen DeGeneres. It’s a movie that takes on a new perspective on the classic book ‘The Strange Case Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.’ The movie will focus on the sole successor of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde who decided to make a deal with the dark side.
