Brooklyn’s Wife Nicola Says He’s Under “Pressure To Please People With His Career And He Didn’t Love It”

One hasn’t heard much of Brooklyn Beckham’s thoughts when it comes to his life dream. Nicola Peltz Beckham’s interview had us all hear a rare insight into how Brooklyn feels about it and turns out, it’s not so positive.
Nicola was interviewed by Tattle Magazine and shared that her husband, who’s four years younger than her, did not use to love what he did.
The new Mrs. Beckham never named and shamed anyone, but one could easily make the dots that the 27-year-old was talking about Brooklyn’s parents, the football star and supermodel couple David and Victoria Beckham.
She mentioned that Brooklyn has continued to grow his interest in culinary and told Tatler, “You can tell that when Brooklyn’s in the kitchen he’s in heaven.”
But the situation was a complete-180 before this and Brooklyn experienced “a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it.”
Additionally, she shared that her husband has been getting close to her dad and often heard them conversing about his new business. She shared, “Brooklyn is getting into very exciting things with his shows and also business things and it’s really sweet.”
“I watch him call my dad and say, ‘What do you think about this?’ I love watching him learn from my dad.”
Brooklyn has tried out a number of things, from being part of Arsenal before he was dropped at the age of 16 to working as a photographer for Burberry BRIT before dropping out of Parsons School of Design. His colleagues during his internship with Rankin were shocked by his “lack of basic skills.”
The swipe was not completely out of the field as back in December 2022, Brooklyn was called out when he didn’t mention anything about his parents on Mother’s Day. Though, they seem to remain close-knitted as Victoria was seen exiting a restaurant in Beverly Hills with Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola last month.
The newlywed has been staying stateside as Nicola seems to be reluctant to go back to the UK. She shared with Tatler, “I would say ‘No’, but you never know. I love knowing I’m so close to my family.”
A slew of negative comments was made when for a special Valentine’s episode, Brooklyn and Nicola burnt the crust of the pizza that many deemed to be “simple.”
