Britney Spears Emotionally Announced She Has Lost Her ‘Miracle Baby’
“Perhaps we should have waited to announce.”
“Baby One More Time” singer Britney Spears has announced the loss of her “miracle baby” on Instagram, adding they’ve regretted being too excited about the pregnancy. She and her partner Sam Asghari had also asked to have their privacy respected during this time.
The 40-year-old mom-of-two, however, is not giving up and “will continue trying” with Sam.
The couple had dropped the pregnancy announcement last month right after they found out about it. Britney wrote last night, “This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news.”
She continued, “Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
Britney and Sam first met when he appeared in her ‘Slumber Party’ video in October 2016. The two started dating shortly after.
A little less than five years later, in September 2021, she said yes to Sam! The two have been engaged, and during the same time, Britney was in the middle of her fight to take off the conservatorship from her. She’s accused her father of controlling her over $60m of fortune and forcing IUD on her.
She spoke of it, “I have an IUD inside of myself so that I don’t get pregnant, but [my team doesn’t] want me to have any more children.”
Britney has two sons from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline: Sean and Jaden, who are now 15 and 16.
Britney was engaged on the same day as Jayden’s birthday on September 12. Her oldest’s birthday is just two days later, on September 14.
After 13 years of conservatorship, Britney took her stand and told the judge, “I am not happy, I can’t sleep. I’m so angry, it’s insane. And I’m depressed. I am traumatized. I just want my life back.”
“I want to end this conservatorship without being evaluated. This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good. I deserve to have a life; I’ve worked my whole life. I deserve to have a two to three-year break.
She’s slammed her whole family for being involved in allowing the situation to fester for her. She added, “I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive. I don’t feel like I can live a full life. In the meantime, I want this therapist to come to my home. I’m not willing to go to Westlake … They set me up by sending me to the most exposed places. I need your help.”
“My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, including my management … they should be in jail,” she emphasized.
