Bride Stunned Guests As She And Her Bridesmaids Danced To Cardi B’s WAP At Wedding Reception
It’s enough to give Mother-In-Law a heartache!
There are chances for weddings to go off the rails. The bars are opened, and of course, the bride and groom’s nerves are gradually cooling. Ever attended weddings and prayed for things to go smoothly? But when they don’t, at least you’ve got to see some good stories to tell to the world. Besides, the center of attention is the bride, which means she has to be decked up to high heaven without going beyond.
One bride has been dubbed ‘wild yet hilarious,’ having chosen the non-traditional way to spice up her special day. The bride’s reaction has sparked a divided opinion, with many insisting her dance to Cardi B’s WAP is enough to give her grandma or mother-in-law a heart attack.
The bride, identified as Rydel Funk Lynch via TikTok, had taken to her reception stage with her bridesmaids to dance to Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s hit song WAP. In a now-viral clip, Funk and the ladies could be seen twerking, thumping the floor with their fists as the wedding guest excitedly watch the incredible performance.
‘Lmao, I almost forget, my bridesmaid and I surprised everyone with WAP at my wedding.’ Funk, the U.S. bride, captioned the clip shared on her TikTok page. So far, it has garnered over 6million views and had been uploaded on a Facebook page titled: ‘That’s It I’m Wedding Shaming.’ Guests could be heard clapping and screaming at the dance routine while a photographer captured the performance.
Reacting, many people saw no issue with the wedding dance, while a few claim it was enough to give a heart attack – meaning they weren’t impressed. ‘Humping the floor in your wedding dress is way classy.’ A user sarcastically commented. However, people got concerned with the lack of social distancing and facemasks, while a few commented on how awkwardly her brothers and dad stood in the background despite being the performers for the day.
‘If this song isn’t at my wedding, I am not getting married.’ A second commented while a third said she should have gone all out and walked down the aisle to the provocative hit. In your opinion, is this a Yay or a Nay?
