Bride Rages As Stepmom Showed Up In White To Her Wedding

It has been known that wearing white to someone’s wedding can be likened to a declaration of war for attention. On her special day where she wears white, guests are expected not to appear in an equally eye-catching color, i.e., another white dress.

Yet, a bride had to deal with this fiasco – from her own stepmom nonetheless!

“My stepmom showed up in a lace white dress to my wedding.”

People quickly raged together with the bride, who shared her frustration on Reddit. As she had covered both her and her mom’s face, people really couldn’t guess who was getting married at all! The bride’s only console was that this might be one of the rare infuriating pictures of her small wedding ceremony.

“Luckily she wasn’t in very many of our photos!” explained the bride.

Her mom appeared to be wearing a similar lacey white dress, and our best lead to who’s the bride of the day would be the wedding veil. The bride’s family didn’t bother confronting her because “everyone knows about her shenanigans.”

The bride said, “I thought about making her cover-up, but I knew it wouldn’t do any good. She’s tone-deaf.”

“Luckily, this was a covid wedding (less than 14 guests). She’s not invited to the big ceremony we are going to have when things get better.”

The bride had actually planned a bigger ceremony, but she wasn’t about to let her stepmom ruin it. And as for her dad, the bride explained that “he doesn’t want to fight with her” and would often let her go despite her horrible manners.

When asked about, the bride answered, “She doesn’t know about the second ceremony. She is very embarrassing when she drinks. The smaller ceremony we elected not to have alcohol at, but we are planning on having alcohol at the bigger ceremony. I don’t want to have to deal with her getting drunk and acting crazy in front of my and my husband’s friends.”
