The 18-Year-Old Billie took home 5 of the 6 awards she was nominated for. She was nominated and won the category: Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
Billie is the 2nd youngest artist in history to win the big four after Taylor Swift in 2010
The Juggernaut also scooped the gong for Best Pop Vocal Album. Her win was undeniably historic, not because she was the youngest person to take home all the 5 awards, but because she’s the youngest to win Album of the Year after Taylor Swift (2010).
Billie’s speeches were quick and to the point
Billie is the 2nd artist in history to win the big five, her speeches on receiving the awards were quick and to the point. Most of it even appeared like she was apologizing for winning the awards.

Die-hard Fans rushed in saying Billie didn’t want to win mainly because she knew she would receive backlash

Another tweet that garnered over 350,000 likes suggested Billie must have afraid of backlash, but she reminded users she’s still a teenager.
