On January 26th, Billie Eilish hit a jackpot-winning her first Grammy Award as well as adding a whole armful to her collection.

The 18-Year-Old Billie took home 5 of the 6 awards she was nominated for. She was nominated and won the category: Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

Billie is the 2nd youngest artist in history to win the big four after Taylor Swift in 2010

The Juggernaut also scooped the gong for Best Pop Vocal Album. Her win was undeniably historic, not because she was the youngest person to take home all the 5 awards, but because she’s the youngest to win Album of the Year after Taylor Swift (2010).

Billie is the 2nd artist in history to win the big five, her speeches on receiving the awards were quick and to the point. Most of it even appeared like she was apologizing for winning the awards.

She appeared apologizing to fans of other artists for winning the awards

Why me? She exclaimed as she collected the award for Song of the Year. ‘So many songs out there deserved this, I am sorry.’ She continued.

‘I am not going to waste your time. I am really not. I love you. Thank you for this.’ Billie said when receiving the Album of the Year Award. At a point, Singer Alicia Keys was heard offering Billie some words of encouragement as she equally won Record of the Year.

Why me? She exclaimed as she collected the award for Song of the Year. ‘So many songs out there deserved this, I am sorry.’

‘Be in your greatness, in your excellence.’ Alicia said to Billie as she walked up the stage with brother, Finneas. ‘It’s all good dear, you deserve it!’

A video of Billie saying ‘Please don’t be me’ before winning her Album of the Year Award went viral and has sparked tons of drama on Twitter.

Die-hard Fans rushed in saying Billie didn’t want to win mainly because she knew she would receive backlash

She had touched on the point earlier. After winning the Best New Artist, she said: ‘I know your fans are hardcore and they are going to fight for you, they love you and they are going to talk shit about me for years.’

Another tweet that garnered over 350,000 likes suggested Billie must have afraid of backlash, but she reminded users she’s still a teenager.
