The ‘Your Power’ singer shares that she lost 100,000 followers on Instagram after her new look that doesn’t involve baggy clothes become more common.
She’s been experimenting with new looks and ditched neon green for platinum blonde hair because she wants “anonymity.” Her Vogue cover photoshoot as a pinup girl with corsets and high-stocking got her a million like hits in the fastest ever on Instagram.
But on the other hand, there are some who were displeased with the change in Billie Eilish’s appearance.
She shared with Elle, “People hold on to these memories and have an attachment. But it’s very dehumanizing.”
Billie was referring to the comments under her post that criticizes how the industry changes people and she looked “cringy asf.” She continued with a laugh, “I lost 100,000 followers, just because of the b**bs.”
“People are scared of big b**bs.”
She continued, “The other day, I decided to wear a tank top. It wasn’t even a provocative shirt. But I know people are going to say, ‘Holy f**k, she’s dressing sexy and trying to make a statement.’ And I’m like, ‘No, I’m not. It’s 500 degrees and I just want to wear a tank top.’”
