Angelina Jolie Revealed Brad Pitt ‘Choked’ One Of Their Kids In Infamous Private Jet Fight With Her
The details grew more gruesome than ever.
The spiteful custody and divorce fight between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continues as new details emerge in the bombshell’s documents filed against her ex-husband. He reportedly “choked” one of their children during the fight in the private jet, hitting another in the face, on top of grabbing her hair and slamming her against the wall.
The feud between the former co-stars and married couple went public over a year ago now, with Jolie notably selling her stake in the French winery they own, Chateau Miraval, without consulting him.
Drama ensued as they proceeded to bring each other to court over the sales, and Jolie’s lawyers shared, “She has gone to great lengths to try to shield their children from reliving the pain Pitt inflicted on the family that day.”
“But when Pitt filed this lawsuit seeking to reassert control over Jolie’s financial life and compel her to rejoin her ex-husband as a frozen-out business partner, Pitt forced Jolie to publicly defend herself on these issues for the first time.”
Regarding the chateau, Jolie initially suggested that they set out terms for a pre-nuptial agreement for how the property should be split. But Pitt replied through his lawyers in an email, “Early in the process, I raised the issue of a buy/sell agreement between A & B but was told by Brad it wasn’t necessary for two reasonable people to have such an agreement.”
Angelina Jolie was always active in designing the houses she lived in, but Pitt “pushed for creative control consistence with his own taste and vision” and installed a fifth swimming pool that cost them €1 million.
“While Jolie would have preferred a more collaborative approach, she acquiesced to Pitt’s desire to take control over the project, although she sometimes questioned why, for example, the chateau needed a fifth pool at the cost of one million euros, or why the same staircase needed to be rebuilt four times,” the statement continued.
“If Jolie ever questioned such expenditures, Pitt defended them as critical to his vision for the chateau.”
She filed more documents detailing one particularly violent feud between them that occurred while they were on the air in September 2016. The documents continued, “‘Throughout the long, overnight flight, Pitt was physically and emotionally abusive to Jolie and their children, who were then between the ages of 8 and 15.”
While on the plane, Pitt reprimanded Jolie, who was “too deferential to the children.” The court document continued, “He pulled her into the bathroom and began yelling at her. Pitt grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, and then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall. Pitt then punched the ceiling of the plane numerous times, prompting Jolie to leave the bathroom.”
“As she exited, one of their children asked, ‘Are you ok, mommy?’ Pitt yelled back, ‘No, mommy’s not ok’ and started deriding Jolie with insults.”
Things continued to get violent as Jolie’s children spoke up in defense of her to stop Pitt from insulting him. Pitt “lunged” at one of the children, and it became an altercation. The document continued, “To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow.”
“The children rushed in, and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened. Many were crying.”
Jolie and her children “sat still and silent under blankets” during the flight, and “nobody dared to go to the bathroom.” Pitt, who was described dousing his then-wife and children in beer and red wine, “finally fell asleep” after a few hours of outbursts.
“After that flight, for her family’s well-being, Jolie decided to file for divorce.”
She’d previously filed against the man after the flight but later sued the FBI under the alias Jane Doe after the charges were dropped and the investigations stopped. Her alias was known after Rolling Stone gained a copy of the documents.
