Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, were detained by Romanian cops after posting a Twitter rant video aimed at Greta Thunberg that revealed his location. The 36-year-old former kickboxer has been detained under suspicions of human trafficking and sexual assaults by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT).

Now a social media star, the 36-year-old has been detained for 24 hours to be investigated.

Romanian prosecutors raided his villa and Bucharest properties as they shared reports of them both being allegedly part of an organized crime ring that exploits women sexually. At least six women were confirmed to be recruited and forced to perform for R-rated videos without proper consent.

The warrant reads, “With regard to the crime of rape, it was noted that, in March 2022, an injured person was forced, on two different occasions, by a suspect through the exercise of physical violence and psychological pressure to have sexual relations.”

Tate’s spokesperson shared, “We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can.”

The social media star’s home in Eastern Europe has been raided before earlier this year as part of a human trafficking investigation. They were detained for several hours after a US citizen’s complaint to the American Embassy in Bucharest but were eventually released.

He previously boasted that he moved to Romania because he’s less likely to be arrested for sexual assault allegations there.
