Amber Heard Says She Still Loves Johnny Depp After Trial Loss
“No bad feelings or ill will towards him at all.”
Amber Heard, who’d recently lost her trial against Johnny Depp in a defamation trial, is due to pay $8.35 million to her ex-husband. Heard was invited to an in-depth interview with Savannah Guthrie for Today Show and said that despite all the legal battles, she still “loves him.”
Guthrie asked about her feelings after the court, and shockingly she said, “I love him. I loved him with all my heart.”

“No bad feelings or ill will towards him at all. I know that might be hard to understand, or it might be really easy to understand. If you’ve ever loved anyone, it should be easy.”
But at the same time, she was still scared of her ex-husband suing her again. She told the interviewer, “I’m scared that no matter what I do, no matter what I say or how I say it, every step that I take will present another opportunity for this sort of silencing, which is what I guess a defamation lawsuit is meant to do. It’s meant to take your voice.”
She spoke of how Depp truly delivered “total global humiliation” with the trial being publicized.

“I’m not a good victim, I get it. I’m not a likable victim. I’m not a perfect victim. When I testified, I asked the jury to just see me as human and hear his own words, which is a promise to do this. It feels as though he has,” she spoke emotionally.

She’d also slammed Depp for allowing his employees to take the stand as his witnesses.
She spoke with Guthrie about her plan for the future, “I get to be a mom like full-time, where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers.”
.@SavannahGuthrie: On the first day of the trial you issued a statement, and part of the statement said, ‘I still have love for Johnny.’

Now a mom-of-one, Guthrie took her question further, asking how Oonagh Paige Heard, her one-year-old daughter, would understand what happened to her. She said, “I think no matter what, it will mean something. I did the right thing. I did everything I could to stand up for myself and the truth.”
The interview had everyone slamming the woman for her “bizarre” behavior.

Heard is said to be planning to appeal the verdict and slammed the social media for affecting the jury’s decision.
