Amber Heard Is Spotted Bargain Shopping At TJ Maxx With Sister
It’s unclear if Depp will enforce the ruling and ask she pay him in its totality.
Amber Heard and her sister Whitney Henriquez were spotted bargain shopping at a TJ Maxx in New York despite the actress owing ex-husband Johnny Depp $8.3million in damages over defamation trial win. It’s alleged the sisters perused through racks for clothes and discussed white linen pants at the Bridgehampton retail store.
36-Year-Old Heard had her hair up in a bun, wearing a white shirt and a pair of baggy jeans.
TMZ reported that her ensemble was undeniably a sharp contrast to her elaborated court outfits and hairstyles. Henriquez was seen as she pulled her shopping car to the side so an older woman could see in the mirror if her potential purchase was lit. She stood firmly by Heard’s side throughout the court proceedings, testifying against Depp.

Henriquez had shared a heartfelt message that reiterated her support for Heard following the verdict.
This comes as the Aquaman star has publicly admitted she can’t afford the $8.3million in damages awarded to Depp on June 1st. It remains unknown if the Pirates of the Caribbean actor will enforce the ruling and ask Heard to pay the high sum of money in its totality, but his lawyers Camille Vasquez and Benjamin Chew have hinted that might not be the case.
Depp’s lawyers made it publicly known the actor’s intention was to restore his reputation after Heard’s allegations of domestic abuse in a Washington Post.
Speaking with NBC’s Dateline in an interview, Heard insisted she had chosen to focus on the positives after the trial left her reputation bruised and her opportunities for movie roles declined. She told host Savannah Guthrie that a silver lining of not being busy with work at the moment is that she can enjoy being a full-time mom to one-year-old daughter Oonagh.
The actress shared in the chat with Guthrie she was terrified of telling her side of the story and that she had been wounded by the hate and vitriol directed at her but didn’t regret bringing up the case.
Heard’s interview raised eyebrows, with her repeating her allegations that Depp beat her. But as she continued to air her allegations, she claimed she wanted nothing more than to move on with her life, telling Guthrie: “I look forward to living my life, and I have a long one, I hope in front of me. And I will continue to walk through this with my chin up.” Heard further attested she still loved Depp despite branding him a liar who swayed the jury with his fantastic acting.
